Presenter's Bio:
Brooke A. O’Neil
Ms. O’Neil received her JD from Santa Clara University School of Law and was an editor of their Technology Law Journal. Brooke spent nearly 22 years of practice in Idaho, and at least half of the cases were family law cases. Over the years, Brooke received several awards, including twice receiving the Denise O’Donnell-Day award for volunteer work. She attended and graduated from the Idaho Academy of Leadership for Lawyers. Served on the Idaho Guardian and Fiduciary Association board and was President for two (2) terms. She is a frequent presenter and speaker on many topics, including guardianship, family law, probate, and other specialized areas. She is always interested in resolving a case while preserving any possible family relationship, and to that end, she earned a certificate in both family law and elder law mediation.
Brooke moved to Washington in January 2023 to practice as the staff attorney for the Skagit Justice Project in Mt. Vernon and is currently the assistant managing attorney for the Bellingham and Mt. Vernon offices of Northwest Justice Project. When not working, you can find her with her animals, outdoors, gardening, reading, or spending time with friends and family.
