Ms. Mullins will provide an overview of the interrelation between family law and protection orders highlighting issues related to domestic violence. Her discussion will include different types of protection orders available, how parenting plans fit in with protection orders, use of a GAL in protection orders, and case law information.
Ms. Mullins is a staff attorney with the Northwest Justice Project. She currently focuses on collaborating with Skagit Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services (DVSAS) to provide more comprehensive and holistic support to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and trafficking. Previously Ms. Mullens practiced family law and as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in the Family Support Division.
This CLE has been approved for one (1) Law CLE credit by the WSBA. It is open to the public but you must be an active member of the Skagit County Bar Association to qualify for the CLE credits. SCBA membership is for a solar year (January 1 - December 31) and your dues are used for the benefits of our members and to support the Skagit Volunteer Law Program.
