Please join us for an exciting CLE presentation by two of our local jurists. Judges Needy and Stiles will provide wisdom and practice tips on litigation and hearing related issues. This is an excellent opportunity to be able to ask questions of our judges to hone your presentation skills for future court appearances.

Biographies of Presenters:
Judge Brian L. Stiles was appointed judge on July 1, 2015. He was previously in the private practice of law from 1981 and served as Sedro-Woolley’s municipal court judge from 1996. Brian graduated from Sedro-Woolley High School in 1974, Pacific Lutheran University in 1978, and the University of Puget Sound School of Law in 1981.
Judge Dave Needy was appointed as the 4th Skagit County Superior Court Judge on January 20, 2006. Prior to that time, Judge Needy was the Court Commissioner since January of 1997. Dave was the elected Prosecuting Attorney of Skagit County from 1993 until his appointment to the bench. He was a deputy prosecutor for twelve years in Benton and Skagit Counties. Dave received his BA from the University of Washington and his J.D. from Willamette University.
