In 1958 President Dwight Eisenhower established Law Day as “a day of national dedication to the principle of government under law.” Commemorated annually since that date, Law Day programs are conducted throughout the country by bar associations, courts, schools, and civic groups. This year’s theme honors the “Miranda: More Than Words.”
The Skagit County Bar Association, the Volunteer Lawyer Program, and the Liberty Bell Award Committee invite all of those involved in law and justice, as well as support staff, and significant others, to attend the 2016 Law Day Luncheon and Liberty Bell Award Ceremony.
